2021 Summer Dance Camps
Safety protocols will be in place and we are adhering to the guidelines set by the State of Colorado and San Miguel County.
Fairytale on Fridays
Class will be held Fridays from 10:00-11:00am
Session 1: May 21, 28, June 4, 11, 18 – FULL/CLOSED
Session 2: August 6, 13, 20, 27, Sept. 3
$100 per session, $190 for both

Come enjoy this magical experience!
This summer camp is a beautiful beginning to ballet and excellent for dancers who want to develop their ballet skills. Each day we will bring fairytales to life through dance, music and theatre. Students will learn classroom etiquette, basic ballet skills, and explore creative movement. Please wear dance attire: leotard, tights, tutu/ballet skirt and ballet shoes. Dancers should bring a water bottle and a sunhat (optional) for outdoor breaks.
Class will be held Monday-Thursday, 9am-12pm
Middle and High School students
Instructor: Kelsey Trottier
This 4 day intensive will blend a variety of contemporary dance styles. Each day will have a blend of conditioning for dance including stretch, strength and technique development. Dancers will participate in group exercises for spacial awareness, expanding movement vocabulary, exploring free form expression and learning choreography.
Ballet Technique and Pointe Variations
Class will be held Monday-Thursday, 1pm-3pm
middle school and high school ballet students – with approval from instructor
Instructor: Nicole Hattler
Enjoy four days of developing your ballet technique and learning four classical pointe variations with Palm Arts ballet instructor, Nicole Hattler. Middle School dancers who are not yet en pointe are encouraged to learn the variations in their ballet shoes.
Class will be held Monday-Friday from 9am-noon
Instructor: Keri Sutton
Dancers will explore tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary. This camp encourages dancers to learn upbeat routines while building confidence and style! Please wear dance attire: leotards, tights, leggings, dance shorts etc.. Bring your tap shoes, clean sneakers and jazz shoes.
Each day dancers should bring a water bottle and a lunch for outdoor breaks (sunhat optional).
Telluride Ballet Workshop
Pre-Registration is required for all camps. Palm Arts requires a minimum of five registered students in order to conduct a camp/intensive.
